Meet Seth
Seth Cohen was born in Evanston, Illinois, and raised in Buffalo Grove. He enlisted in the United States Marine Corps in 2016 and, following his honorable discharge in 2020, continues to serve in the Marine Corps Reserve. Seth earned both his bachelor’s degree and MBA from the University of Chicago and lives in Chicago with his wife and daughter.
In 2022, Seth co-founded The Brigade, a 501(c)(3) non-profit that has supported the professional development of over 500 student veterans across Chicagoland and the New York Metropolitan Area. The Brigade closed its doors in 2025.
Outside of work, Seth is passionate about backcountry camping, politics, writing, and expanding his personal library. He recently returned from a camping trip to Smoky Mountain National Park, staying at Smokemont Camp Site and completing multi-day trips into the backcountry. Seth is currently reading The Crowded Hour by Clay Risen on Theodore Roosevelt and the Rough Riders.
Seth is training to earn a commission in the United States Marine Corps to continue serving his country.
